A Dance for Birds is a nine-movement suite of music showcasing Torres’s new Latin chamber ensemble featuring the Bergamot String Quartet. This work brings Afro-Latin rhythms, jazz and classical music together, defying musical stereotypes and expanding the horizons of chamber music. This piece was commissioned by Chamber Music America through the New Jazz Works Grant funded by the Doris Duke Foundation and premiered at Lincoln Center on September 28th 2023.

2019 Latin Grammy Award Best Classical Album
Regreso is 4 movement concerto for congas and symphony orchestra. This piece premiered in 2014 by the Berliner Symphoniker at the prestigious Berliner Philharmonie. Regreso is about rediscovery and return to Torres homeland of Colombia and a reflection of its cultural traditions
